Elkins-Randolph County Chamber Committees
There are many opportunities to get involved with the Chamber through our volunteer committees, which play an important role in shaping programs, events, and initiatives that support the Elkins-Randolph County business community. Committee participation offers a meaningful way to contribute your ideas and expertise while building relationships with others who share a commitment to strengthening our local economy. Even if you choose not to serve on a committee, we encourage you to stay informed about committee efforts and how their work can benefit your business and the community as a whole. Chamber Partnership is required for eligibility to serve on a committee.
EDUCATE
The Educate Committee focuses on strengthening our community through leadership development, workforce readiness, and lifelong learning. This committee guides the Chamber’s educational initiatives, including Leadership Ready, Leadership Randolph, and the Smart Seminar Series, ensuring programming remains relevant, accessible, and impactful. By connecting individuals with practical skills, shared knowledge, and meaningful relationships, the Educate Committee helps prepare current and future leaders to succeed in Elkins-Randolph County. Meets the third Thursday of each month at 4:00 PM at The Common Door.
ADVOCATE
The Advocate Committee works to elevate the voice of the local business community through government relations, economic development, and civic engagement. This committee helps guide and support initiatives such as the annual Job Fair, Community Conversations, and other efforts focused on workforce needs and long-term community growth. By encouraging collaboration among businesses, public officials, and community partners, the Advocate Committee plays a key role in ensuring Elkins-Randolph County is represented, responsive, and positioned for continued success. Meets the first Thursday of each month at 8:30 AM at the Chamber office.
NETWORK
The Network Committee is responsible for planning and promoting the Chamber’s signature events that bring people together and strengthen local connections. From the Annual Awards Dinner, Christmas Parade, and Denim & Diamonds to the Golf Tournament and Girls’ Night Out, this committee helps drive events that support both community engagement and economic vitality in Randolph County. In addition to event planning, the Network Committee works to secure sponsorships, encourage participation, and support marketing efforts that build meaningful relationships between businesses and the community. Meets the second Thursday of each month at 12:00 PM (Noon) at the Chamber office.
